We need to start raising monies to help purchase 5 acres of land, build a teaching center, build an outdoor kitchen, and start purchasing equipment.

The Butterfly Bonsai was started in remembrance of my mother, Sandra Ann Brown, and my daughter, Sandra Ann Collins Neff.

The Butterfly Bonsai is a learning center to teach all members of the community how to garden, cook what they grow, and to preserve what they grow for future use. We will be targeting mainly lower income and military families, but anyone is able to come to the center to learn how to garden and preserve what they grow.

We will need many things to get off the ground, but the main cost is going to be the purchase of a parcel of land with a house or a building for the teaching center and kitchens.

We will need a minimum of 5 acres, but would prefer 7-10 acres. For this purchase, we are looking at approximately $150, 000. We are hoping to get this donated, but do not have our fingers crossed for that one.
