The Card House

The Card House Temple, Texas is a Magic the Gathering shop where any level of Magic player can come and enjoy either a friendly game or a competitive match to enhance their Magic skills. For beginners we have an experienced staff ready and willing to give tips and advise on how to build decks, play the game and interact with others on a more competitive level. Beginners are encouraged to come out every Saturday for our $5 tournament at 2:30 p.m. where every participant receives a prize pack. For those Magic players who are more competitive, the shop also claims home to several pro tour and invitational qualifiers. Every Thursday the shop has a robust community of Modern players that can help prepare you for your next major tournament. Friday night The Card House hosts Friday Night Magic where competitive Magic players can compete in Standard format to hone their skills. Besides playing Magic, the store also houses a large collection of Magic the gathering singles used in all formats, along with a variety of board games for those seeking to play a game outside of Magic.
