SERVICES:
FORENSIC INTERVIEWS: Referrals are received from the Department of Social Services, Law Enforcement, and medical providers from counties in the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina. A FI is an investigative interview completed by a highly trained individual with the purpose of gathering information for investigation. This is done in a non-leading way and in a child friendly environment.
ADVOCACY: Is provided to child victims and their supportive caregivers through education, support, court accompaniment and connection with other resources.
THERAPY: CARE House offers multiple evidence based therapies, meaning counseling that science shows works. CARE House staff are trained to provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Alternatives for Families.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION: CARE House staff provide training and
information to groups and individuals as requested.
MEDICAL: CARE House works closely with a local Pediatrician to provide Forensic Medical Evaluations to abused and neglected children.
