WHO WE ARE:

The City Church is a group of people who come together as one family to worship Jesus, help others & preach the Gospel.

OUR PURPOSE:

To Glorify God through Lives Changed by the Gospel

WHAT THIS MEANS:

"The City" is a group of people who Jesus has saved and sent to be missionaries. We come together as one family to worship Jesus each week. You can expect a time of prayer, singing and worship to God as well as biblical preaching every Weekend. We do this by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, training leaders, planting campuses & churches, and working to establish a Biblical legacy.

WE DESIRE TO BE:

A Church that Makes Disciples, Plant Campuses and Churches, making many Small Communities into One City for the Glory of God through Lives Changed by the Gospel. Our deepest desire is to bring glory to God through lives changed by the powerful gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are a group of friendly, happy people who have discovered the joy of the Christian lifestyle by a relationship with Jesus Christ.

WHAT WE DO:

Our church embraces those that society has considered outcast. We have numerous addiction programs to help the addicted, a food pantry to help the hungry, 2 apartments & 1 house for those in need of housing and we want this all to increase so we can help more. We have partnered with likeminded ministries to start 20 missions in Detroit by 2020. Our goal is to be able house hundreds within the next few years. We are not a church that thinks we are better than anybody, rather we want to be the hands and feet of Jesus and help those who need it most.
