The Chief Theatre, Home of the Paul Bunyan Playhouse

The Chief Theatre is home to the Paul Bunyan Playhouse. The Playhouse runs and operates the theatre year round and produces 5 professional theater performances every summer (June through August). The theatre is available for rental during the off-season of the Paul Bunyan Playhouse: September through May. Bemidji Community Theater is an anchor tenant during the off-season. The Chief Theater hosts many different performing groups throughout the off season including musical groups, dance performances, comedy and radio shows.
