The Children's Inn at NIH

The Inn enhances the opportunities for groundbreaking medical discoveries by providing a free “place like home” that reduces the burdens of illness through a supportive environment including therapeutic, educational and recreational programming. Children staying at The Inn participated in more than 270 pediatric clinical trials in 13 of the 27 institutes at the National Institutes of Health, which enhanced the opportunities for groundbreaking medical discoveries.Since opening, more than 11,522 children from all 50 states and more than 80 foreign countries have stayed at The Children’s Inn.
