The Church of the Good Shepherd

The Church of the Good Shepherd, a part of the Anglican Church in North America, is a reverent church. The Book of Common Prayer is used in the services, and helps people worship together, not as spectators but as active participants in worship. We express ourselves in words and in gesture. Generally, worshipers kneel to pray, stand to praise, and sit to be instructed. Services celebrating liturgical year events (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost), centuries-old sacred music, and solemn and festive ceremony are integral parts of Good Shepherd's worship service.
