The Parks & Recreation Department is a division of New Territory Residential Community Association.
New Territory is a family oriented community and provides quality recreation programs for its residents. This master-planned community of 4,601 homes (approximately 17,000 residents), schools, churches, and retail shopping is nestled in Fort Bend County, the third fastest-growing county in the United States. However, careful planning of the 42 neighborhoods and attention to amenities gives New Territory the feeling of Small Town America.
A major focal point of this commitment is the 18,000 square foot Club facility which houses a full size gymnasium, weight/fitness room, locker rooms and meeting/multi-purpose rooms. A beautiful swimming pool with a cabana, a playground, eight lighted tennis courts, a Tennis Pro Shop, regulation sports fields and beautiful landscaping all add the finishing touches to the complex.
In addition to the Club pool, three other conveniently located Recreation Centers (Cunningham Creek, Ellis Creek and Anderson Park) have pools and two have lighted tennis courts. Residents also enjoy the sports complex that is home to baseball/softball fields, 9 soccer fields, a playground, and a large pavilion. And, pocket parks are strategically located in several neighborhoods throughout the community.
In 2014, New Territory was recognized as one of the Best Places To Live in Texas.
