Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR):

Your First-Year Experience begins with Summer Transition, Advising and Registration (STAR), a one-day program for incoming undergraduate students (for the fall 2016 semester). During STAR, you will be introduced to the academic expectations and campus engagement opportunities at Saint Rose. STAR sessions will have break-out presentations for parents as well. As a new student, this is an exciting time filled with nervous anticipation. We encourage you to have an open mind, embrace opportunities to meet new friends, try something new and always ask questions.

All deposited first-year students can register for a STAR session online. In the meantime, here is list of dates and an at-a-glance schedule of events.

STAR Session Dates (new students are required to attend one session):
Session #1: Wednesday, May 25, 2016
Session #2: Wednesday, June 29, 2016
Session #3: Wednesday, July 13, 2016
Session #4: Wednesday, August 3, 2016
Session #5: Monday, August 22, 2016 (primarily reserved for international and long distance students)
