The Columbia Presbyterian Community celebrates 28 years of quality care for seniors in the Midland’s of South Carolina. It is often said that the community is especially known for its friendly, casual and welcoming atmosphere where residents and guests feel immediately comfortable and at home. As a faith-based not-for-profit community, we are mission driven and that means resident centered programs and services take priority. As a part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina we serve seniors of all faiths.

The Lexington, SC 30 acre campus where we are located features expansive wooded grounds, beautiful courtyards with seasonal gardens highlighted by a variety of breath taking roses. A paved walkway that surrounds and leads to the Saluda River where there are picnic tables for a quiet afternoon of enjoying the river’s natural habitat.

We often hear residents say they only made one mistake in moving to the community and that is they should have done so ten years ago! The engaged lifestyle they discover here is just one of many reasons they wish they had moved sooner. From day trips, to interesting seminars and special events, Life Enrichment opportunities abound. Wellness is a major focus where fitness programs are designed specifically for a resident’s needs by our full time Wellness Director. Other dimensions of the Wellness Program include emotional, spiritual, intellectual, social and occupational well being aimed at improving quality of life for each resident. At the Columbia Presbyterian Community residents and family members have the peace of mind of knowing that comprehensive continuing care choices are in place when needed ranging from independent living patio homes and apartments to assisted living, nursing care and a specialized memory support center called Jasmine Place.
