The Cork Factory Lofts

Originally constructed in 1901 as the Armstrong Cork Factory, this landmark structure has been artfully converted into 297 loft apartments. The buildings’ classic red brick façade, an historic silo, and engine room along other original details were restored and incorporated into the re-development.

The Cork Factory is located on the Allegheny River in downtown Pittsburgh in the heart of the “Strip District”. The Strip District is a vibrant neighborhood with an eclectic mix of wholesale merchants, boutiques, sidewalk vendors, restaurants, night clubs, and loft residences as well as the exceptional gallery Society of Contemporary Craft and the world-class Heinz History Center.
