The Crossings is a census-designated place (CDP) Miami suburb in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The population was 22,758 at the 2010 census. In addition to The Crossings, the CDP also includes the West Kendall communities of Devon Aire and Calusa. The CDP is bordered on the north by Kendall Drive (SW 88th Street), on the south by SW 120th Street, by Florida's Turnpike on the east, and SW 137th Avenue on the west.GeographyThe Crossings is located at .According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.8sqmi, of which, 3.7sqmi of it is land and 0.04sqmi of it is water.HistoryThe communities comprising the CDP were developed in the 1970s and 1980s.
