With nearly 300 acres of land (forest, grasslands, wetlands) and over five miles of walking trails, including one designed specifically for visitors with limited mobility, we are Jackson's Nature Place!
Our trails are free and open to the public daily from sunrise until sunset. Our offices and gift shop are open Tuesday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM, Saturday 10 AM - 5 PM, and Sunday Noon - 5 PM; closed on Mondays.
Kids of all ages love our Nature Playscape!
We offer a variety of nature education programs for kids, families, adults, as well as some family-friendly events, like our Goblin Walks, and Birds, Blooms and Butterflies Festival.
We have a nature-based preschool on site, and we are the site of one of the Jackson County Master Gardeners' demonstration gardens. Our Ecology Farm is home to our Community Gardens and Public Apiary.
