This year is the 41st Anniversary at The Dance Studio of Park Slope. This school is the original center for dance, musical theatre and performance in Park Slope for both Children and Adults. Originally located at Union and Seventh Avenue, the Dance Studio moved in 2007, now located at 630 Sackett Street (between 3rd and 4th Avenues) with large, unobstructed dance floors - both floating and sprung, central air conditioning and heating, storefront access for ease, less street congestion for those who drive, public transportation 1 block away on both buses and subway and close to schools in Park Slope, Carroll Gardens and Gowanus neighborhoods.

The Dance Studio offers Choreography Services for school productions, audition pieces and preparation instruction for middle school / high school auditions and wedding couple’s first dance.

Our Children's schedule includes: Tots and Pre School program offers creative movement - kindergarten to first grade Ballet/Jazz/Tap combination dance class, Pre Ballet and tumbling for ages 3 to 6. Also, offered is a complete curriculum for ages 6 through teens with outstanding progressive programs in Ballet, Tap, Jazz/Hip Hop Fusion, Musical Theatre, Acro. / Jazz, Jazz / Tap and Modern / Contemporary Dance. This is a non-competition school that takes great pride in age and skill appropriate classes. This year's schedule offers an extensive variety of classes and times.
