The Factory - Cafe with a Soul - in Wild Chix & Waffles

We make our food / drinks to order, using top quality, freshest ingredients: Local fresh produce and meat vendors, Parisian tea leaves, light-medium roast gourmet coffee from Oregon, top ceremonial Matcha from Japan, and finally topped with lots of love and care.

Local couple Wendy Wu & Wallace Kusumo are the team behind The Factory - Cafe with a Soul. Wendy was an architecture intern in Paris where she fell in love with how the French savor food, drinks, and life. Her dream to recreate this unique experience, combined with her passion in the kitchen sparked the initial idea of The Factory. Wallace then brought in iPad ordering which completed the vision of old school European charm meets current pop culture.

The Factory is meant to be a creative sanctuary where you are whisked away to an inspiring, retreat-like setting. Customers can brainstorm ideas over their signature comfort food Chicken & Waffles and solid coffee drinks like The Factory Pour Over.

The name The Factory itself is inspired by Andy Warhol’s art studio in NY (1962-1984). It was the hip hangout for artists, musicians, socialites, drug users, drag queens, and free-thinkers who were constantly creating all forms of art with Warhol, and created the atmosphere for which The Factory became legendary.
