The Family Resource Center (FRC) serves residents of the Talawanda School District in Oxford, Ohio and offers services that promote economic self-sufficiency for households earning less than 200%.of the federal poverty guideline*. FRC services run the gamut from hardship-based assistance (preventing eviction and utility disconnect) to credit and home ownership services. On-site programs also include employment services, G.E.D. and E.S.O.L classes, assistance applying for public benefits, GIRLS, Inc., community gardening, Free Little Library, free tax preparation, and social service referrals The FRC also accepts donations of gently used items which are sold at an on-site thrift store that helps to sustain agency operations. The FRC thrift store is open to the public.
