The Film School at Santa Fe University of Art and Design

Students of The Film School at Santa Fe University of Art and Design are active members of a creative community. Either they are knee deep in all aspects of Film production (digital, directing, screenwriting, animation, and much more), or they are analyzing and learning from films. They pull knowledge from the new and the classic, the innovative and the unique.

The campus was the first in the nation to host a professional film studio, our own Garson Studios. This provides a unique opportunity for students to not only have access to professional level sets, but also to intern on projects and gain real world experience while making important contacts for their future. Some notable films include: "True Grit," "Legion," "No Country for Old Men," and many others. Additionally, the TV series LONGMIRE has occupied Garson sound stages for the past 5 years.
