The Fischer Haus

Built by Willie Fischer for his family in 1906, this historic Haus boasts 11 1/2' ceilings with four private rooms each with their own bathroom. Haus will sleep up to 10 folks. A fully equipped kitchen is available for your complete use during a full Haus rental. Majestic Oaks & Elms abound the area along with many other historic sites. Browse the Historic Fischer Store (open Saturday and Sundays) where you will find a historic museum of the Fischer family memorabilia along with a multitude of other goodies. Prepare for a relaxing stay and let your city blues melt away while you rock to the beat of the breeze from our front porch, admiring the humming birds, swallows, deer and numerous other wildlife that might happen by. Close to Canyon Lake and Guadalupe River for water activities or do a Hill Country Wine tour. Lot's of shopping in nearby Wimberley, Blanco and Gruene. Bring your horse or bike and ride the trails at Canyon Lake or bring your boat or jet ski to enjoy the lake.
