Parkland Development Corp. and Greystar are pleased to announce their latest addition to the student apartment community in Statesboro, GA, Forum at Statesboro. The Forum at Statesboro is currently under construction at 831 South Main St. in very close proximity to Georgia Southern University. The Forum strives to provide luxury student living and with this community, they will do just that, inside and out. The building exteriors are of a colonial design in keeping with the local architecture with just a splash of school colors. The Forum’s motto is, “It’s your life, live it”. Live it and live it well is what residents will be able to do once living in the community.
The amenities offered at the Forum at Statesboro will be second to none. The student resident can choose to enhance their studies in the state of art computer lab; which has both Mac and PC computers. They can also kick back a little and work in the internet cafe’ or poolside on Forum’s complementary WiFi network. If they would rather work off some of the day’s classroom stress, they can do that in the 24/7 Fitness Center, featuring state of the art TechnoGym fitness (internet, cable and MP3 touch screen access) equipment.
The community will also offer lots of activities and opportunities for relaxing. When the weather is nice; which it usually is at Georgia Southern University, the sports minded resident will have a number of exciting activities to choose from, including sand volleyball, swimming laps or playing tennis on the Forum’s top of the line lighted tennis court. With the first of its kind in the Statesboro apartment community, the Forum will have a state of the art half court indoor basketball court; which will also accommodate a full size indoor volleyball court. Another first that the Forum at Statesboro is bringing to the market is their aquatic pool and ping pong tables; which can be enjoyed while relaxing in the resort style pool.
On the rare occasion when the weather does not cooperate, the sports buff can always watch a game at the sports bar or on the large screen TV’s in the media center or clubroom. If physical action sports are still a desire even in bad weather, the resident can play a number of sports games on the complementary X-box or Wii on the large screens in the Media Center. If the resident would like to be relaxed, they can also enjoy some of the more leisurely activities to be offered at the Forum, such as shooting pool, playing ping pong or the endless assortment of classic video games on the retro video consoles located in the clubroom. The Forum even offers a table top shuffleboard.
When it is time to truly kick back and put studying behind for the day or weekend and enjoy life along with each other’s company, the Forum at Statesboro will again be second to none. Residents can lounge on the spacious sundeck around or even in the pool’s specially designed low depth sundeck. For those in need of deep relaxation, the Forum offers a spa and outside fireplace. Indoors there is always the clubroom; which offers a casual seating area as does the internet cafe’ complete with a choice of complementary Starbucks coffee. The Media Center also offers a casual seating area for gatherings or just to watch a movie or TV show on the large screen TV’s. The residents can also choose to take advantage of the complementary tanning center located conveniently off of the pool deck. The tanning booths even allow you to listen to whatever music you choose in each booth!

The Forum at Statesboro is truly designed to be a home away from home for the student. Each unit will include full size appliances, built-in microwaves, ice makers, and dishwashers. Closet space is abundant and even includes a storage closet on each patio, as well as, a washer and dryer in each unit. Domestic matters are also kept to a minimum for the residents with faux wood flooring throughout the unit and valet trash service; which picks up your trash at your front door. Our fully-furnished floor plans include studio, one, two, three, and four bedroom apartment homes with each bedroom having a luxurious private bathroom, internet, WiFi and expanded cable TV connections.
When it’s time to get back to campus, those without a car need not worry. The Forum is in such close proximity to campus that you can walk or bike right from your home to campus. For the residents that own vehicles, you can park close to your apartment home, thanks to the ample parking designed into the community. The community even includes a car care center, so you can keep your vehicle looking great to impress everyone on campus.
