Welcome to The French American Academy FB page. We invite you to join us and get a feel for our colorful campus life and a taste of what we learn, share, and do, everyday. A leader in bilingual education, The French American Academy provides a true academy education in both, French and English. Students receive a first rate bilingual education, within a course curriculum that parallels America’s finest private and public elementary schools and, which also adheres to the high standards of the French Ministry of Education. It’s a positive, creative, richly rewarding learning environment that blends classical and cutting edge approaches to foster cognitive and social growth, cultural understanding, individual confidence and self expression. An early and continuing bilingual education has been proven to strengthen a child’s fundamental ability to listen, reason, focus, multi-task and communicate better. It helps them do better in non-language courses, like Math and Science. It also makes them culturally adaptable within today's global community. The French American Academy serves students from Pre-K through 4th grade, adding a grade each year with plans to go to 8th grade. The Academy also hosts after school activities in French, enrichment classes, summer programs for children and language classes for adults.
