The Gathering, Long Beach, CA

Welcome to The Gathering Long Beach, formally known as First Lutheran.

We are a group of individuals who gather around God's Word and seek to follow our Savior, Jesus. Together, we are embarking on a journey. We have begun a journey to rediscover who and what God wants us to be and do both as a community of faith at 9th and Atlantic and as individual followers of Jesus.

We are calling this adventure a "replant." We have partnered with LINC Los Angeles to walk with us through the transition, and we have called Pastor Kyle Blake to help lead us.

Through it all, we continue to celebrate and offer the life-saving, life-changing love of God in Christ, as he comes through His Word, in Baptism, in the Lord's Supper, and in the Christian fellowship.
