The (Ghost) Note

The (Ghost) Note is proud to have called Denton, TX, aka "the Little d", home since August 25th, 2012. Over the past 50 years Denton has continuously grown in both its attraction and output of talented musicians and has hit quite a growth spurt in the recent years. The (Ghost) Note offers both high end Drum & Percussion equipment and individualized lessons on drums, bass, guitar, piano, and voice. As a part of the historic Downtown district and hub for local musicians of all kinds we couldn't be happier to be a part of the community.

DRUM SHOP: After years with no dedicated drum shop something had to be done for drummer filled town of Denton, TX. -Out of necessity The (Ghost) Note was born. Owned and operated by working drummers The (Ghost) Note Drum Shop specializes in selling the most in demand NEW & VINTAGE/PRELOVED drum sets, snare drums, & cymbals online and in store at 120 W. Oak St., Denton, TX 76201, new & vintage Drum RENTALS, on-site tech work, and professional MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS.

MUSIC SCHOOL: The (Ghost) Note Music School began in 2012 offering private drum lessons and has since grown to offer individualized private lessons to all ages & levels of experience additionally on bass (electric & upright), guitar, piano, and voice.

Our current teaching staff includes degreed active working musicians Lupe Barrera (d), Connor Kent (d), Colby Schreck (d), Horace Bray (g) Mike Luzecky (b), Patrick Carr (p,a), Phil Hill (d,v) and current University of North Texas Percussion and Jazz Studies department Senior Lecturer Jose´ Aponte.
