The Good Shepherd School

Founded by Fr. Harry Tompson, S.J., in 2001, Good Shepherd School seeks to help economically disadvantaged children living in New Orleans by providing them with an extended-day, year-round, quality education integrated with personal, moral, and spiritual development. Provided by the generosity of benefactors, this exceptional educational opportunity will give these children the foundation needed to break free from the cycle of poverty into which they were born. Graduates of Good Shepherd School continue to receive academic guidance and social support through its Graduate Support Program.
