Welcome to my website! My name is Arthur. I'm a young-at-heart 40-something, born and raised in Alameda California right outside of San Francisco. Cooking has always been a passion of mine and I'm thrilled to share it with all of you! THERE IS NO LOVE MORE SINCERE than the love of food at ATKINSONS ROCKIN KITCHEN Cooked by The Gourmet Metal Chef!

I started cooking at 6. When I was growing up, I had tons of interest in what was going on in
the kitchen ... I learned culinary skills in my Irish grandmother’s kitchen. A family of Great Cooks. As a young boy, I absorbed it all and even passed up storybooks for cookbooks creating elaborate menus for my childhood friends. I was always working in and out of restaurants in my area as a kid.


Former cook with no culinary schooling. Worked in many restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area/San Diego area. I want to become an Executive Chef and Restaurateur. Culinary school is and has long been my passion and dream since I was little. My lifelong dream has always been to pursue a Culinary Arts certification/degree and become an executive chef in a high-end restaurant.
