The Granary

The Granary will reopen on Friday, February 17, at 835 Coleman Blvd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464.

Inspired by Florie’s roots and time spent at Lowcountry farms with family, The Granary embodies the spirit and camaraderie fostered between South Carolina farmers. Florie will continue as consulting chef at Rarebit, the popular Upper King Street gastropub that opened in December of 2012 and of the soon-to-open Big John’s on East Bay Street.

“The concept of The Granary was inspired by my family and time spent growing up in Charleston,” said Florie. “I learned to farm and live off the land from my grandparents, so this restaurant pays homage to them.”

The Granary serves weekday lunch, Sunday brunch and dinner Monday through Saturday evenings, featuring a locally-focused menu that will celebrate the Lowcountry’s abundant resources.

The Granary sources specialty produce as well as chicken, duck, eggs, lamb and pork from McClellanville’s Thornhill Farms. Housemade breads, an extensive charcuterie program and a seasonal pastry menu round out the menu comprised of small plates, entrees and family-style sides.
