The Grove Oak Store

The Grove Oak store is located in DeKalb County, AL. It is situated in between Buck's Pocket State Park and High Falls County Park, right in the heart of Grove Oak. We also neighbor Morgan's Cove and the beautiful Lake Guntersville State Park.
We carry over different convenience store items, artwork, and books. We also preserve pieces of Grove Oak history.
The Grove Oak Store is locally owned and operated by Grove Oak native, Jamie Godwin. Sometimes we have live music.
We're at the beginning of the Trail of Tears. And like so many small towns all across America over the years basically died. Everything had been closed for at least 10 years until Jamie reopened the store on July 4, 2015. Pioneering life back into her hometown.
