The Guest House at Trout Creek is a family residence that has been converted to an inn. We call it a bed and breakfast, but that terms doesn't really describe it well (although I do provide continental breakfast type items for the first morning of your stay). I suppose what it technically is is a house that is available for rent on a short-term basis (not exceeding 2 weeks). You get to decide if you want to rent one bedroom ($75 per night), multiple rooms (add $25 per night for each additional bedroom), or the entire house ($150 per night). The kitchen is fully equipped with a standard refrigerator/freezer/ice maker, stove/oven, double sink, and microwave. The kitchen is stocked with pots/pans, dishes, cooking & eating utensils, coffee maker, coffee, and the basics to be able to prepare a meal. There are one and half baths that are fully equipped with towels and linens, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is a carport on the front end of the house with a porch swing and sitting area. On the back side of the house is a covered patio with a sitting area, ceiling fan, and gas grill. The grounds around the house are beautiful and well tended. There is a pond behind the house that you are permitted to visit if you don't mind being accompanied by the two big, black, resident dogs. They are totally friendly and will probably take a dip while visiting the pond. The Guest House is ready for you. All you have to do is walk in, unpack and relax!
