The Heritage Room

This historic space is located in the Council Street Commons building on the first block of East Council Street in downtown Salisbury. Originally the showroom of McCanless Motor Company from 1924-1950, and later a manufacturing facility for Stanley furniture, in 1996, Karen & Henry Alexander undertook the challenge of renovation and restoration of the vacant building, converting it into a diverse and multiple tenant space, and the 2,600 square foot Heritage Room. The Heritage Room offers exquisite views of Easy Street, the F&M Financial Center & Garden, the WaterWorks Visual Arts Center and the F&M Trolley Barn!
