The Hilltown Chautauqua of Western Massachusetts is a new series of curated programs on pressing issues of American life that combine nationally known speakers, panels, interviews, the visual and performing arts. Our programs are topical, intelligent, entertaining, and edgy. On April 22-23, we present CIVITAS: A CELEBRATION OF DEMOCRACY in Ashfield, MA. We began this series on September 10, 2016, at the Bryant Homestead in Cummington, with a weekend eco-festival, EARTHCARE. We will present our second EARTHCARE on September 15-17, 2017, again at the Bryant Homestead, with a focus on "Food, Farms, and the Land."
