The Home of Truth: A New Thought Spiritual Center

Founded in the later 1890s by sisters, Annie Rix Militz and Harriett Hale Rix, The Home of Truth Spiritual Center is one of the oldest New Thought denominations in the United States. This place was built in 1905. The two sisters studied with Emma Curtis Hopkins, Mary Baker Eddy, and Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, all pioneers in New Thought Metaphysics. The sisters were instrumental in starting the Unity Church, and Annie even wrote much of the Unity School of Christianity’s early course materials. There were believed to be over 20 Home of Truth Centers throughout the US, from San Diego to Boston. Today, we honor and continue their legacy as a New Thought, Metaphysical, and Interfaith Center for honoring and celebrating Truth Principles, and honoring each individual’s unique spiritual path.
