The origins of the hookah come from the north western provinces of India along the border of Pakistan in Rajasthan and Gujarat nearly a millennia back. These hookahs were simple, primitive, and rugged in design, usually made from a coconut shell base and tube with a head attached. They were designed to smoke opium, and hashish.
Today, Hookah Lounges are a growing afterhour activity in cities across the country. Perfect for relaxing with friends at the beginning of the evening, and even better to top off a great night/special occasion, hookah lounges are popping up everywhere!
For an authentic experience with delicious flavors, a relaxing ambience and a staff unlike any other, come to The Hookah House. Whether you are new to this tradition or an experienced hookah enthusiast, you are welcome to join us for a fun evening and after-hours evening wrap up at Boulder’s original Hookah House!
