The Hunter House

The Hunter House (circa 1883 - 1887) has been in one family since it was built as a wedding gift from John Hudson Hunter for his bride Ida Clark. House proud, his initials are on the house. Their children Mamie and Nathan inherited the home, and Nathan's wife Evelyn lived in it until she passed away at the age of 103.

Journey with us as two of their grandchildren, Layne and Laura Brightwell, renovate their family home. Often called "the most photographed house in Georgia," these two sisters recognize how important it is to share the home with all who love it.
