The Huntley

The Huntley is located in Strathmore, a neighborhood located in the southwest section of Syracuse, New York. When the apartment building was originally constructed in the late 1920s, it served as elegant living quarters to bachelors, widowers, widows and newlyweds. In the last three decades, the building was mismanaged and fell into disrepair. The Strathmore Huntley Group, a group of active neighbors and investors, formed together to buy the Huntley from the City (after foreclosure) and to work toward the restoration and redevelopment of the building to make it once again a jewel in this historic urban neighborhood.
