The International Brain Foundation is a Cape Girardeau, MO based not-for-profit organization founded by Scott Gibbs, MD, FACS. As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Gibbs has a professional interest in the brain and its maladies, and strongly believes in promoting brain awareness as it relates to its diseases, disorders and the research that is vital to conquer these conditions. It has long been his dream – and is now a reality – to establish a not-for-profit foundation, The International Brain Foundation, to advance these purposes.
The International Brain Foundation is devoted to promoting knowledge and understanding of brain and neurological disorders and injuries through education and prevention awareness to people of all ages – especially children and educators. By sharing our resources with other neurological organizations, everyone can contribute to improving human potential through unified awareness, education, and research.
