The Italian Cultural Society of Washington D.C.

The Italian Cultural Society is a non-profit organization that promotes Italian culture in the nations capital. The Italian Cultural Society was founded by Italians and Italo-Americans. The Italian Cultural Society’s mission is to promote Italian cultural awareness throughout the nation. The Italian Cultural Society implemented an Italian Language Program, which is the leading school for Italian language and culture in the Washington, D.C. and Bethesda area. The organization focuses on providing service to Washington’s community. Our classes are targeted to students and people of all ages: seniors, adults, teenagers, and children. The Italian language classes are uniquely structured; each course is designed around the needs and interests of the participating students. All of our Italian language instructors are native Italians and native Italian speakers. They are experienced in teaching Italian as a second language to a variety of cultures. Our Italian language teachers have high quality teaching methods. They periodically attend trainings and teaching workshops in order to improve their teaching methods and guarantee a high quality learning experience to our students.
