The Journey of Longmont

The Journey of Longmont is a church that believes in the God of the Bible. That means a few key things.

It means that we believe that God is the source and reason for living. And this is not a bad thing! Because God is love. He's the source of love because he is the originator of it-- he had the original idea. So everything else we believe or do is shaped by this filter: How does this show God's love?

It means we believe the Bible is the primary to know the basics of who God is and what he wants for us.

It means we believe that God the Father loved this world so much that he sent Jesus, the 2nd person of the Trinity (the Son), to redeem us from our sin and heal our brokenness through his death on the cross and his resurrection. We believe that God calls us to partner with him to share this message of hope to a broken world. We believe that God lives in us through his Holy Spirit (#3 in the Trinity) and his presence empowers us to live life as he wants.

What can you expect when you get to the journey?

Well, we worship together as a community every Sunday morning at 8:31 or 10:07 am (sharp!) and the services usually lasts about an hour and twenty minutes.

The atmosphere around here is “God’s Family Room“, so it’s a pretty casual. Of course, through the worship and teaching we hope you’ll encounter God personally and powerfully!

If you’ve got kids there are a couple of options. Kids are always welcome with their parents in worship but child care is also provided. We have a nursery for infants and The Trek is our weekly Children’s Ministry program for kids from Pre-K through 5th grade.
