REMAKING CHURCH. Re-visioned church known as The Journey using non-traditional approach to church experiences, seeks to bridge the gap in the generational crisis occurring in churches:
65-35-16-4. These are the numbers that became a driving force for an out-of-the-box church now known as The Journey. 65% of Seniors in America regularly attend church, 35% of Baby Boomers, only 16% of GenX, and a shocking 4% of 20-somethings, or Millennials. The fact is that the primary venue of most churches, their weekend service, is geared for the needs and interests of the 65% and 35% groups. And the fact is that the age gap in churches is getting bigger and bigger.
The Journey is non-traditional church seeking to introduce and establish people in a relationship with Jesus Christ through energized weekend worship experiences, a Wednesday Bible study during the week, and outreaches into surrounding communities throughout the year. When it comes to doing church on Sunday, services at The Journey are more like a Christian rock festival than anything you would expect from the traditional world of church. Services feature deeply meaningful, ambient rock music to help people connect with God and encouraging, Bible-centered messages that are relevant to life in today’s world.
Service Times:
Sunday @ 11 AM
Wednesday Bible Study @ 7 PM
