The Key Haunted Escape Rooms

NOTE: Hours change frequently. Please call for current hours! The Key is located inside and operates within the hours of the Post Road Recreation Center, a sprawling five-acre family fun park. PRRC is also one of Indy’s largest go karting facilities, offering both family and adult karting on one indoor and two outdoor tracks, an arcade, Flavor Burst ice cream, a pizza shop and more! Unlike many of the more complex adult-themed escape venues, all games of The Key were created as a more family-friendly activity for those with children even as young as eight years old. The ‘haunted’ theme is a versatile term and can vary from game to game, depending on your wishes. Regardless, from the moment you enter the arena of The Key, you will immediately realize you are now submersed in a whole other dark and mysterious world.
All games in The Key are set in an extremely dark atmosphere to add just enough suspense to each game setting. A few of the intriguing and fully captivating adventures include The Funeral Parlor, The Séance, The Shackle Hall, The Hunted, the Wine Cellar Terror, Prisoners of War and more. The elaborate detail of each room, the intriguing puzzles along with the owner's love for a mild mix of humor and just a bit of old-fashioned scare tactics combine to make every room in The Key an unforgettable and overall joyous and even addicting experience. Other rooms opening soon include The Cabin, Blackout, Egyptian Casino, Funhouse and The Catacombs, to make The Key the largest escape room venue in the state of Indiana. Now in their eleventh year with the park, the owners and operators are no veterans to the haunt industry having conducted large commercial haunted attractions for nearly a decade. They have found this new venture of The Key Haunted Escape Rooms to be as fun and entertaining for them as it is for their customers.
