Philosophy:
The Learning Tree is an early learning school that focuses on the fundamentals of early childhood education. Through a combination of values pulled from the Reggio, Montessori, and Play based teaching strategies, our educated, experienced teaching staff view learning as scaffolding made stronger by unique, developmentally appropriate experiences. This strong foundation will continue to be built upon for the rest of your child’s life. We achieve this by teaching to the whole child and focusing on developmental integration of cognitive, social, emotional, language, self-help, physical and artistic areas to facilitate the total development of your child. The individual needs, learning styles, and interests of each child are the heart of our lesson plans, ensuring the success and eventual Kindergarten readiness in each child. Our curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards and always provides the children in our care with age appropriate challenges and patient guidance. The children who go forth from our school will have an understanding and respect for the world around them and value the diverse community we live in. The Learning Tree will plant the seed of knowledge in your children and from that seed will grow a lifetime love of learning.
