Research Investment:
LLS has invested more than $680 million in blood cancer research. LLS-funded research has directly contributed to many breakthrough cancer treatments.

Advances such as chemotherapy, bone marrow and stem cell transplantation and new, targeted oral therapies like Gleevac might never have happened without the kinds of research funded by LLS.

Patient Services:
LLS provides critical information and support for patients and their families. The Information Resource Center (IRC) puts patients and families together with experts through webcasts and teleconferences, and provides professional education through seminars to expand the latest findings in blood cancer research to a broader professional audience.

We also provide support groups, patient financial aid, co-pay assistance and patient to patient connections in local chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
