The Little Gym of Frederick

Our instructors nurture happy, confident kids through a range of programs including parent/child classes, gymnastics, karate, dance and sports skills development, plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parentsʼ Survival Nights and Awesome Birthday Bashes.

Each week, progressively structured classes, our fully developed curriculum, and a positive learning environment create opportunities for your child to try new things and build self-confidence. Each week we offer a new adventure in learning and fun. We believe that children learn best when they are smiling and laughing so all classes are taught in a fun loving and nurturing environment. Our instructors undergo intensive skill growth training so that they can help each child progress to the best of his or her skill ability.

Class Offerings:

Parent & Child Classes: starting at 4 months old

Gymnastics Classes: 3 to 12 years (beginner, intermediate and advanced levels)

Dance: 2 to 12 years (Parent/Child Ballet & Creative Movement, Tap, Hip-Hop & Freestyle

Sports Skills Development & Karate: 4-12 years old

The Little Gym has been voted #1 Place to host Children's Birthday Parties by Parents Magazine. Children say their Awesome Birthday at The Little Gym is the best they've ever had! We offer a variety of customized party packages, planning every detail according to your wishes!

Parents' Survival Nights: 3 to 12 years
Held the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month from 6:30-9:30 PM, our Parents' Survival Nights let parents enjoy some much needed adult time while children have a blast with our Awesome Instructors. We prepare a fun-filled, physically active evening with games, crafts, musical activities and special events. Dinner is always provided! Advance registration is required and space is limited!

Winter Break & Summer Camps: 3 to 12 years
Our camps offer giggle-filled relief from the summer heat and winter doldrums. Campers enjoy a variety of themed activities, games, gymnastics and art projects. Snack is provided for each session.

WonderKids Preschool Enrichment Program: 3-5 years
Self-expression and imagination are at the heart of this engaging program that celebrates the awe of learning. Each three-hour WonderKids session combines a 1 hour Funny Bugs gymnastics-based class with 2 hours of active learning in the classroom. Children are exposed to art, music, math, literature and sign language in our safe, peaceful, happy environment. Offered the first Monday and third Thursday in the 2014-2015 School Year.
