The Living Room - Connection

It has been observed that many ministries although having the basic format of a church may lack certain key components that the early churches were originally based on. Many things have affected what we The Body of Christ are trying to achieve. Anything from wrong understanding, lack of relationship, wrong focus, lack of unity and more. It is easy for people to get lost in the crowd and become another number, the focus can become the music, the members, the money, the politics, and at times the motive can be worse. At T.L.R the vision is simply to bring the hearts, minds, and life practice of every believer back to the focus of what The Body should be according to the foundation that is already laid wich is Christ Jesus . The vision for T.L.R was birthed in the heart and mind of James R Futch II December 2013, and burned in the heart of his spouse Esther Futch when he shared it with her then. For many years before even getting married in 2003, this couple individually served under different ministries with the whole hearted desire to assist these ministries and do their part for the furthering of the cause of the Kingdom of God. They continued to do so after they were married in 2003 until now. With the skills and the abilities to work with youth, young adults, choirs, worhip teams, instruments, administrative skills, coaching, and ministry foundational workings, this couple put forth every effort using these skills, giftings, and resources for the cause of Christ. Now, after many years of doing so, they have excitedly and humbly answered the call and taken a step forward in bringing together a community of believers that have the same heart and desire to see the church return back to the basics. Their goal is to see the church refocus and restructure their perspective one life and mind at a time, and as these lives refocus, that they will bring other believers back to the basics. Re-establishing principles, disciplines and a lifestyle of Christianity as lived and practiced by the early Church and Apostles according to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, this is T.L.R's mission. T.L.R provides a place where believers can meet on the 1st sabbath of every month at 7pm until 10 pm. The environment is conducive for focused prayer, intimate worship and praise, communion (the bread and the wine), and targeted and wholesome fellowship. We devote a time of sharing mind blowing wisdom straight from Gods word to the believer. Towards the end of the evening, we enjoy delicious appetizers and samples of tasty meals while connecting over laughs and games every time we meet. If you prefer to continue worship, pray with one another, or simply sit quietly, you are welcome to do so The 1st Living Room will be on May 7th and every 1st Sabbath after. We know that God will bless and expand this work, however due to the fact that this journey has just begun, seating for The Living Room is limited to 20 individuals being present at a time. Due to this we are making you aware that it is vital to reserve your spot here on this sight if you would like to be a part of T.L.R in person.
