More about The Lords Sanctuary (Gallatin)

We believe…

The Bible is the inspired word of God and is the Christian’s infallible guide to matters of faith and doctrine.

There is one God eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless resurrection, in His ascension and intercession for the saints, in His personal physical return to this earth in power and glory to establish His millennial reign.

The only means of salvation is through repentence of sinfulness; faith in Christ’s atoning death as the Son of God and a confession of the Lordship of Jesus Christ over one’s life. (Romans 5:10)

Salvation produces regeneration by the Holy spirit and may be acknowledged as being “born again.” (John 3: 1-8; Romans 8: 1-11)

The Holy Spirit has been sent by the Heavenly Father, God as the agent of comfort, inner witness of one’s adoption as God’s child, source of spiritual empowering for believers to do the work of christ in the world. (John 14, 15, 16; Acts 1:8) Mataures believers spiritually (Gal. 5:22); Provides spiritual gifts to Christians for ministry. (Rom. 12:6-13, 1 Cor. 2:6-16, 1 Cor 12-14, Gal. 5:16-26, Eph 4:10-16, Eph 6:13)

There is one church made up on everyone who has confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and is the visible expression of the Body of Christ on earth.

That Jesus Christ has provided through the Holy Spirit for gifts of healing spiritually, emotionally, and physically (Isaiah 53; Matthew 10; 1 Corinthians 12; James 5) and that the annointing of oil and prayer by the Elders for healing is a scriptural practice for the Church today.

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to an eternal dwelling with God and the other to eternal separation from God’s presence.

The ordinance of the believer’s baptism in the water (Matthew 28:19) by immersion shall be given to all Christians desiring it as a public expression of their personal salvation.

The ordinance of the Lord’s Supper shall be given to all desiring Christians on a regular basis as determined by the Church Elders (1 Corinthians 11: 23-33).
