The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc.

The Lovejoy Foundation rescues all breeds, ages and sized dogs and puppies. We are a volunteer based organization, with a large foster program as well as a facility. Included with each adoptions fee, we provide spay or neuter, micro chip, rabies, all three rounds of vaccinations, de-worming and de-fleaing as well as two hours of free professional training. We do not adopt more than thirty minutes away. Our adoption process starts with an application, interview (face to face), and then a home check. All dogs/puppies are required to have a collar and Lovejoy Foundation ID tag on when leaving for a new home and it is mandatory these two things remain on the dog/puppy at all times. All dogs being adopted into a new home with existing dogs in the home must be brought to adoptions for proper introductions on neutral ground before an adoption is approved. Every adoption into The Lovejoy Family is thoroughly evaluated and we reserve the right to refuse an applicant at any time.
