The Mango Tree Villa – so named for the tall mango tree that drops a regular stream of ripe mangoes into the yard (careful, here comes one now!) – is a calm and quiet luxury oasis in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.

This well-appointed 3-bedroom/3-bath home in the beautiful Poinsettia Heights neighborhood is central to everything in South Florida. Looking for a relaxing vacation? No need to ever leave the Villa. Take advantage of the steamy spa and refreshing pool in a completely private setting – the lush landscaping will shield you from prying eyes and intrusive noises. You just can’t help but immediately relax once you step out into the Florida sunshine and realize that all this is yours for now. Combine this with our optional white-glove concierge service, and your peace and quiet will know no bounds. Hungry for an action-packed adventure? You’ve come to the right place. From the Villa, the Everglades are mere minutes away if your taste runs to airboats and gator wrangling. Exploring shipwrecks your cup of tea? How about some scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean? Slightly less adventurous? You may choose to spend your time on the famed white sands and limpid waters of Fort Lauderdale’s beaches or shopping in the high-end shops of the nearby Aventura mall. Careful, don’t get run over by a Bentley!

At night, let loose your inner celebrity in the vibrant South Florida nightlife and fine dining scene. Mingle with minor reality show stars and show off your dance moves! Want to know a secret? The world’s best lamb chops are no more than ten minutes away from the Villa, but you’ll have to ask to be let into this secret club!

The Villa can accommodate ten guests in comfort. Two bedrooms, each with ensuite bath, boast king-sized beds. The third bedroom is home to two twin beds. All are topped with hypoallergenic down-alternative toppers for ultimate sleeping comfort (and no pets means no dander. Breath easy). Each bedroom also features flat-panel HDTV/DVD combos and readily accessible USB power conveniently located by the beds. Two queen-sized sofabeds round out the sleeping arrangements. The master bedroom boasts a spa-quality bath, with double sinks, a giant soaking tub, and large step-in rain shower.

The Villa keeps a fully-stocked kitchen, which includes everything from glassware to an espresso maker.

The outdoor space shines. Check out the outdoor shower – if you can find it! Hint – it’s lush and green and well, you’ll figure it out. What you will find is living and dining arrangements seating several people ideal for entertaining, an outdoor kitchen, and a big grill just waiting for you to don your chef’s apron and show off your grilling stuff!

Bedrooms:

The spacious bedrooms all have new mattresses, linens, and newly carpeted floors. Each bedroom has a private closet and HDTV/DVD combo, along with USB power by the bed, where you need it. For variety, the front king bed has a memory foam mattress, while the master bedroom and middle bedroom each has pillowtop inner-spring mattress. All of the beds are topped with a down alternative featherbed for cloud-like sleeping comfort.


Bathrooms:

The two king bedrooms both have a full ensuite bath. The master bedroom has a wonderful spa-like bath with a large walk-in shower and soaking tub. The hall bath also has a very large walk-in shower and beautiful tile work.


Other Activities:

Look no further for a location in the center of all South Florida has to offer. The Villa is conveniently located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale between Miami and the Palm Beaches. We are close to all major highways and only a short drive to Fort Lauderdale International Airport. This beautiful home is located in the Fort Lauderdale subdivision of Poinsettia Heights bordering Wilton Manors to the west. The ocean and beaches are just a few minutes away and Las Olas Boulevard (famed for its food, shopping, and entertainment) is a short drive away. In every direction, you will find dining, shopping, activities, and entertainment.

Fort Lauderdale, dubbed the “Venice of America,” is the yachting capital of the world. The city offers easy access to many marinas where you can charter and rent boats. If eco-tourism is your interest visit Everglades National Park where you can view the wildlife (and feed marshmallows to alligators). Seminole Hard Rock Casino, ≈where you can enjoy gambling, retail, entertainment, and dining, is less than thirty minutes away. Las Olas Boulevard has fun for the whole family with dining, entertainment, and culture including the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art, Cinemas, Museum of Science, and Discovery and Broward Center for Performing Arts. There are multiple concert and sports venues through South Florida including the Bank Atlantic Center, American Airlines Arena, Dolphin Stadium, and more.
