The Mcbride Guest House

The McBride family is pleased to share our beautiful guest house with you while you are away from home. Whether you are on a business trip, seeing family, or vacationing in our great Central Valley, The McBride Guest House is a perfect place for you to relax and spend private time. We are located in Atwater, CA in a semi-rural residential neighborhood in Merced County. We are ideally located for vactioners who are traveling through the valley. We are 2 hours from the San Francisco Bay area, 2 hours from the northern Central coast, and 2 hours from Yosemite National Park, 2 miles off Highway 99. Our guest home provides a large space (1150 square feet), which includes: 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen (stove/oven, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee pot, pots/pans, dishes, and untensils), family room, 2 televisions, one in each bedroom, radio / Ipod dock, washer and dryer, and a private garage. The McBride Guest House is detached from the main house to provide complete privacy. It sits on the back portion of our 1-acre of land, nestled in a park like setting. Behind the guest house, you will find fruit trees, berry bushes, and a vegetable garden, bursting with home-grown delights that are yours for the picking during the summer months, as well as a picnic table under the trees and a BBQ grill. You may also relax on the patio area off the kitchen, while you listen to the gentle water fountain or practice your golf on the putting green next to the patio. During the hot summer months, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or a morning or evening soak in the jacuzzi. Rather than stay in an impersonal hotel relax at the McBride Guest House for a true home-away-from home experience.
