The Mecca

The Mecca is one of the few long standing locally owned businesses in Porterville California. Originally opened in 1937, The Mecca has been providing awesome drinks and keeping the public happy for OVER 75 years!!!! The current owner has been serving the public for the past 15 years and is always happy to meet a new face! Locals describe The Mecca as being “Our own hometown Cheers!”

Our business hours are 6am-2am 7 days a week 365 days a year!! The Mecca serves everything from bottled domestic and imported beers, to a HUGE variety of mixed drinks. We have 4 TV’s that are always showing local and national news, sports, and a variety of other programs. We have a pool table as well as a good old fashioned Shuffleboard table! The bartenders are always eager to serve and might even tell a story or two!

So if you find yourself in Porterville stop on in and have a cold drink, but bring cash since we do not accept credit or debit cards and also be prepared to show ID since The Mecca is a 21 and over establishment.
