The Meridian Company

The Meridian Company was founded in 1984 as a full service plumbing and bathroom remodeling company aiming to serve Greater Lansing and the surrounding communities.

In 1996 we joined Contractors 2000, a national best practices organization for plumbing and mechanical contractors with the goal of improving our organization and the service we provide to the community. Through our membership we’ve developed valuable working relationships with some of the most influential business people in our industry and through this networking platform have positioned ourselves as one of the top service providers in mid Michigan. In 2004 Contractors 2000 changed its name to Nexstar and currently has more than 400 business members worldwide.

Our dedication to the communities we serve and adherence to the Nexstar Code of Ethics has rewarded us with a growing, award winning company. In 2009 Meridian was awarded an entrepreneurial award in the “service” category at the Greater Lansing Business Monthly Magazine annual entrepreneurial awards ceremony. In addition, Meridian maintains membership and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and Greater Lansing Chamber of Commerce.

Being blessed with great employees and customers over the years has allowed us to experiment, practice, grow and diversify our company through the good times and the bad, changing locations three times and finally settling down in our current headquarters in East Lansing, Michigan. In 2007 we expanded our operation to include Heating, Cooling & Ventilation (HVAC) repair and replacement. With the goal of being Greater Lansing’s “Total Home Service Provider” we plan on adding an electrical division in the near future.
