We love Montana. We love the Montana lifestyle, and we are committed to doing our part to help our friends turn their passions, skills, and creativity into a viable business. We believe in community, and we believe that while the internet is important to all, it isn’t the best way to experience locally made, handcrafted treasures. It was for this reason The Montana Shop was born.

Located in the heart of The University of Montana, The Montana Shop is part of The Bookstore family. We are proud to feature handmade goods from Montana artists, and we are growing every day. Our family is currently made up of over 30 artists and craftspeople who live and work in this great state. From Big Fork to Livingston, from Red Lodge to Stevensville, and many places in between, our community stretches across the Big Sky. We offer their original jewelry, clothing, and accessories, many of which are vintage, recycled and unique. Many are repurposed and sustainable. All are just plain cool.
