The Morro Bay Skateboard Museum opened in July of 2012. Our mission is to share skateboarding’s history and culture with all ages of skateboarders as well as the general public. Featuring skateboards and memorabilia from the 1930s to present day. Many of the skateboards in the museum are on loan from private collectors such as Stephen Pizzo and Todd Huber's Skatelab - Indoor Skatepark and Skateboarding Hall of Fame Museum.
The museum is staffed on a volunteer basis by director Jack Smith, and Eric Terhorst. Open seven days a week.
